Falcons take down Knights for second win

The Adamson Soaring Falcons went for its second straight win at the expense of the Letran Knights, 83-78, in the Filoil Flying V Pre-Season Cup earlier this afternoon at the San Juan Arena.

Leading the charge was Jerrick Ahanmisi with 26 points, alongside Robbie Manalang and Papi Sarr who added 15 and 12 points, respectively.

Despite a Slow start during the first quarter, the Soaring Falcons were able to find their rhythm in the second quarter, eventually taking the lead. From there, Adamson held their advantage until the final minutes of the match thanks to the sharp shooting of Ahanmisi and Manalang.

Any attempts to a rally by the Letran Knights was immediately squashed by the San Marcelino-based squad.

The Falcons now have a 2-2 win-loss slate. Their next game will be on May 21, 1:30 pm, against the Mapua Cardinals, still to be held at the San Juan Arena.
