The Adamson Soaring Falcons missed their chance to compete in the semifinals of the 10th FilOil Pre-season Cup after bowing down to the tough defense of the tournament’s Bracket B top-seed NU Bulldogs, 65-57, earlier this afternoon at the FilOil Flying V Sports Center in San Juan.

Adamson big man Pape Sarr led the Falcons with 11 points and 12 rebounds - 9 points of which came from the free-throw line. Frederick Tungcab and Jerrick Ahanmisi contributed 10 and 7 points respectively.

Coach Pumaren’s squad led the first two quarters of the game, until the Bulldogs found a way to lock and slow down the offense of the Soaring Falcons. After 9 deadlocks and 15 lead changes throughout the game, Coach Eric Altamirano’s squad emerged victorious.
