NEW ACADEMIC YEAR, SAME SENTIMENTS. SAME PROBLEMS WITH INCLUSION AND DELETION OF SUBJECTS.

Let us put “School with a heart” behind us. Let us talk about the fact that students go through hell every start of a semester. What hurts more than that is seeing the amount of units in our loads before petitioning for classes and filing for inclusions. What’s the point of all the accreditations the University continues to work for if students are in delay of graduating just because classes are non-existent? Some had to fight tooth and nail to fix their schedules because they had ended up having a schedule that has a three-,four-, or five-hour break in-between their classes. Saying we lack professors and resources is not the response we want to hear. We remain as tributes who continue volunteering for academic slaughter, believing that the University is our second home. But even then, we have to wait for the time the University finally makes us home. Disbursing an outrageous amount of money and not knowing if we’d be able to enroll any subject is not home. This shall be an “open letter” to those who may be concerned - if anyone is concerned about the welfare of the students of the University, that is. We, in The Adamson Chronicle, believe that our dear University can do better than this.
