TAC Launches the Chronicle Literary Awards

LET LIVE FALCON LITERATURE.

As a part of the celebration of the 75th Founding Anniversary of the Autonomous and Official Student Publication of Adamson University, The Adamson Chronicle presents The Chronicle Literary Awards: the most prestigious student-led literary awards in the community.

The Chronicle Literary Awards aims to perpetuate a culture of ardency and involvement in developing Philippine literature in Adamson. From poems to short stories to informal essays, the Chronicle Literary Awards will celebrate Adamsonians who have exceptional talent in creative writing. It intends to promote literature and nationalism in the simplest way.

The competition is open to ALL bona fide students of Adamson University in the Academic Year 2016 – 2017. It has three categories: Poetry/Tula, Short Story/Maikling Kwento, and Essay/Sanaysay. Works that have won in other contests, or have been published inside and outside the University, will be disqualified. Literary works should either be in Filipino or English. Submission of entries is from August 5 to September 5, 2016.

WINNING ENTRIES will be named (conferred) during the awarding night and be included in the fourth installment of (H)unos, the official Literary Folio of The Adamson Chronicle, to be published later this year.

Further details and requirements regarding the competition are stated in the application form available at http://bit.ly/chroniclelitawards. You could also acquire them by visiting the TAC office, or through our official website.
