UAAP Season 79 Women's Basketball: AdU vs NU

The Adamson Soaring Lady Falcons suffered their second defeat of the season in the UAAP Women’s Basketball Tournament after succumbing to the offensive and defensive prowess of the defending champions, NU Lady Bulldogs, 53-85, in their match-up earlier this morning at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Kristeena Camacho led the Adamson's cause with 10 points followed by Rose Rosario and Kaye Pingol who added 8 and 7 markers, respectively.

The solid NU squad showed their dominance, managing to lead up to 42 points against the San Marcelino squad. Aside from the hot-handed shooting of the Lady Bulldogs, the defensive presence of their import, Rhena Itesa, caused the Lady Falcons to struggle offensively throughout the game.

Coach Fermin’s squad now hold a 1-2 win-loss card, and are going to try to bounce back against the Ateneo Lady Eagles on Saturday, 10pm, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
